Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Editor's Board. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our platform, services, APIs, and mobile-responsive web applications.

By registering an account, linking your ORCID digital identifier, publishing a journal opening, or submitting an editorial application, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and our related Privacy Policy.

If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of an academic institution, scholarly society, or publishing house, you represent and warrant that you possess the full legal authority to bind that entity.
02

User Accounts & Dual Workspaces

Editor's Board provides a unified account architecture enabling authenticated users to access both the Academic Workspace (for scholar profiles and applications) and the Journal Workspace (for vacancy management and editorial board recruitment):

Academic Dossier Integrity

Scholars must provide accurate institutional affiliations, bona fide publication records, and truthful peer-review histories.

Journal Entity Authorization

Journal managers must be authorized representatives (such as Managing Editors, Editors-in-Chief, or Publisher Executives) of the listed publication.

03

Verification & Credential Authenticity

To maintain a trusted academic ecosystem free of predatory practices, all participants undergo verification:

  • Scholar Authentication: Multi-factor verification combines ORCID OAuth, institutional email confirmation, doctoral degree validation, and Scopus publication metrics.
  • Two-Tier Journal Standard: Tier 1 verifies ISSN validity and publisher entity authenticity; Tier 2 monitors independent indexation (Scopus, WoS, PubMed, DOAJ).
  • Revocation of Verified Status: We reserve the immediate right to suspend or revoke verified badges if fraudulent information or paper-mill activity is discovered.
04

All platform members must adhere strictly to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines:
